Tom`s Chicken Shack in Bartow

On December 03 2019 at 7:15 p.m. I order an 3 piece wing dinner . Which cost 9.95 ... I received 3 wing half done . Which I asked to be cook a little extra with 10 French fries and cold bake beans . Very disappointed . I highly want recommend anyone with the service I received today .

The young lady was nice. I feel it could of been a little cleaner. Workers lean on counters and by register, on was walking around with white dish cloth in his hand the around his neck. If I was FDA they would failed. Food was cooked good, employees need to be more aware of what they doing. You lean you can clean and you should since its open.

Really good fried chicken. It was a nice day so we sat outside. Definitely worth a return visit.

my chicken gizard was small,hard,and dry,my wife's fish sandwich the same. mostly batter.

This place has been here forever, it's always been well maintained with cleanliness and kindness. These people will literally come out to your car at the drive through if orders are backed up just to make sure yours is ready when you finally do get to the window. Only thing I could recommend is a little lighter on the breading with the livers. I had a few that were only breading. Dont like paying for scraps! Other than that great place!

Very great establishment that has built a very good following in the community, ask any local in bartow! This place has anything from gizzards and livers to fried okra. Every item I've ever tried here has been fresh and not all too greasy either! Very enjoyable. Will definitely recommend this place to others! Great job staff!

Since I move to bartow Florida I've been going to Tom's chickenShack.My favorite are the gizzards best gizzards I've tasted hands down.

First time trying this place. Gizzard and chicken were delicious. Not fan of the fires but then again I didn't taste them on the spot. Fast service. Will visit again.

Food is good, but asked for lots of hot sauce and got none.

This used to be one of my all time favorites, food was good and gizzards are phenomenal. But the prices have really increased and food is still good, just not what i would expect for the price. Finding it easier on the pocket to go to other local restaurants for lesser price. I really wish they had better prices cause the food good. I still go occasion cause the gizzards are still irresistible and workers are friendly..

I love chicken livers. They are a bit pricey tho. 1lb is $13. Sweet tea was good.

Famous for tender gizzards. Used to be named "Country Chicken 'n Fish". Tom's Chicken Shack is a new name but the same owner and the same great food.

Great chicken, prices are a little high but, if you like the chicken then it's worth whatever you're willing to pay and my grandmother, mom and aunt love it, so I buy it.

Okay Tom I will friendly service and you can get it fresh excellent service

I tried calling because we come from another city and it was 8pm and they close at 9 most nights. I thought it would be polite to call ahead as Im sure they wanted to go home on time. I ran a restuarant and I know. But they wouldn't answer 3 different calls. When we got to the after 8 order window I asked did they change the number and she said no we arent required to answer if we are cleaning. I was speechless then said we almost didnt come. But we are glad they served us because the food is great. Should be a chain. But hey girls get a answering machine at least???

My experience on 4/20/20 between 7:30 and 8:00 pm was terrible. My chicken was terribly burnt . My wife's order was wrong, since when is a chicken sandwich comprised of a small chicken tender? Tried to call 5 times and when I finally got someone on the phone the manager explained that "I should save my burnt food and bring it in the next day for a refund.". How can I save my food? How does that help me have dinner tonight? He kept calling me "dude" and completely blew me off with excuses about oil in the frye. I gave the manager my name and number to speak with Tom the owner but its unlikely that message will be passed. Fryer oil aside there is no reason for the worse customer service experience I have ever had.Tom your manager has my number so pls call me. Your food and service requires immediate attention.

I don't like this place services or food they served the smallest chicken in the world. The Chicken looks premature not Fullest develop to even cook well along to eat And called Tom Chicken Shack I didn't want to give one star its not worth any star,with their High pricing selves and serving foods that not worth to pay for.

Great food a little pricy but worth it

We're new to the area and had been wanting to try this place. I ordered fish for my husband, livers and gizzards for myself AMD the 21shrimp meal for my daughter and granddaughter to share. Firstly the shrimp should be described as popcorn shrimp. It was overly breaded and overly cooked which made it nasty. The gizzards seemed as if it was boiled, breaded then fried with no seasoning at all. The baked beans, fries and macaroni salad was good. How are the sides better than the entrée?

There is no better place for miles and miles to get fried chicken. It’s as good as anything my mother cooks (don’t tell her I said that!). In fact, you’ll eat here then go home and demand to know why your mother never cooked you chicken like this. I take it home to eat with pintos, greens and cornbread.

The food is always delicious and staff is nice. I love their corn nuggets and chicken bites! Good food for the price!

Food is delicious! A little pricey but worth it because it's always fresh. I always get the livers. They're amazing!! Why I'm giving this place a 3 star rating is because they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! I asked the man working the drive thru window why they do not answer the phone and his reply was his boss tells them to not answer the phone! If your the owner of this place please fix this issue!! I have tried calling countless times and I have friends and family that have also but whenever they deny to answer we take our business to the next place that answers the phone to take our order. Actually just tried calling a few minutes ago and no answer! What a surprise
